Welcome

The purpose of the PhD Association is to further the professional and economic interests of graduate students at the Faculty of Science. A central aspect of the association's work is to provide PhD students with information about the ever changing environment of researcher-training, be it about external (political decisions, tax, funds etc.) or internal (Faculty administration of the PhD program) issues.

In Autumn 2011, Aarhus Graduate School of Science and the School of Agriculture, Food and Environment at Aarhus University merged and became the Graduate School of Science and Technology – GSST. To celebrate the new school, we would like to invite PhD students, PhD supervisors and all of our other collaborators to join us for an afternoon with the popular PhD cartoonist Jorge Cham, followed by an informal reception with drinks and snacks.

So please put a big X in your calendar for Friday 10 February 2012.

Have you ever wanted to organize a concert, games night or film screening? Would you like to meet new friends and to get involved? Then the PhD House Activity Group is the place for you. All PhD students are invited to attend the founding meeting in the Lakeside Lecture Theatres, William Scharff Auditorium, on Tuesday 25th October at 15:00. If you are into student politics, then stay on for the founding meeting of the Aarhus University PhD Association, which is held immediately afterwards.
